Rodgers keeping tabs on Schalke youngster

German outlet Kicker is suggesting Rodgers is keeping tabs on Schalke youngster Max Meyer.
The 18-year-old has had a season to remember for the Bundesliga club, appearing 14 times and scoring four goals in all competitions.
The German Under-17 international could not prevent his side crashing to Chelsea in the Champions League on Wednesday, but that hasn’t stopped Liverpool’s admiration of the player.
However, Meyer is tied to Schalke until 2017 and the club are expected to make an improved offer to keep him around for much longer than that.
