Liverpool target greek Konstantinos Mitroglou

Arsenal & Liverpool target Konstantinos Mitroglou

Hat-trick hotshot Konstantinos Mitroglou is a target for both Arsenal & Liverpool

Arsenal and Liverpool are preparing to do battle with Borussia Dortmund for the signature of in-from striker Konstantinos Mitroglou, reports The Sunday Express.
A number of European clubs have reportedly stated their interest in signing Mitroglou from Olympiakos with the striker in a rich vein of form and now both Arsenal and Liverpool have entered the fray.
Mitroglou has already netted four hat tricks this season including one in the Champions League against Anderlecht and that form has led to both Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers to take notice.

The 25-year-old is reportedly a target for Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, Benfica, Sporting Lisbon and Genoa with a paltry £7m fee thought to be enough to convince the Greek outfit to release the player.
Arsenal felt the full force of Mitroglou prowess last season after he scored against them in the Champions League at the Emirates and Wenger is believed to be ready to up his interest in January.
The Gunners need reinforcements up front with only Olivier Giroud and Nicklas Bendtner available for selection.
Failed moves for Demba Ba and Liverpool's Luis Suarez have left Arsenal heavily reliant on Frenchman Giroud.
Liverpool, on the other hand, are seeking reinforcements for their current first choice pair up front Daniel Sturridge and Suarez respectively.
