Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge continued their fine form as Liverpool disposed of Crystal Palace at Anfield.
Luis Suarez got things up and running after 13 minutes as he linked up with Jose Enrique before eventually tapping it into the bottom corner to hand Liverpool the lead.
Four minutes later Daniel Sturridge drifted past a handful of Crystal Palace defenders en route to goal where he blasted home the hosts' second goal of the game.
Steven Gerrard made it three just before the break - the veteran midfielder slotting home a penalty after Raheem Sterling was fouled inside the area.
Palace attempted to fight back and they reduced the arrears when Dwight Gayle flicked a header beyond Simon Mignolet after a teasing delivery from Jose Campana.
The visitors looked to add another, but in the end Liverpool saw out the remainder to record another Premier League win.
