Liverpool transfer news: Kaka bid expected

Real Madrid midfielder Kaka has emerged as a transfer target for Liverpool

Liverpool are expected to make a bid for Real Madrid midfielder Kaka, who has announced his intention to leave the Spanish capital.
Kaka, 31, has decided to leave Real after the Spanish side added two new recruits to what is already a swollen midfield line-up in Isco and Asier Illarramendi this summer.
Confronted by the likelihood he will feature only as a bit-part player next year, Kaka announced his intention to quit Madrid late on Thursday, saying, “now is the right moment for me and for the club for me to leave amicably”.
Reports on Friday suggest that Manchester United are interested in making a move for the Brazil international, after suffering set-backs in attempts to sign other attacking midfield targets.
However SportsDirect News has learned Liverpool appear a more likely Premier League destination for the player.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers could be set to launch an ambitious approach to sign Kaka, who would bring considerable quality and experience to a young line-up that also features fellow Brazilian Phillipe Coutinho.
Liverpool are likely to face competition from Kaka's former club AC Milan – who are also vying for the signature of another Anfield target, Mamadou Sakho of Paris Saint-Germain.
