Michael Owen believes Liverpool have a good chance of breaking back into the top four if Luis Suárez stays at Anfield beyond the summer.

The 26-year-old’s future has been a source of constant speculation in recent weeks after he publicly reiterated his desire to leave Merseyside in search of Champions League football.
Arsenal have had two bids for the want-away forward turned down by the Reds, who continue to insist the Uruguay international is not for sale.
And former Liverpool striker Owen feels that Brendan Rodgers’ men would have a decent shot of securing Champions League qualification if they can keep hold of their prized asset.
“Much depends on star man Luis Suárez,” Owen told sportlobster.com. “If he goes it could be an uphill battle for Brendan Rogers who has urged the Liverpool fans to be patient over the summer months.
“Replacing him would be near-impossible and more than one forward replacement will have to be brought in to replicate his goals tally.
“If Suárez stays and a couple more signings join the ranks then the top four could even be within their sights.”
Suárez scored 23 Premier League goals for Liverpool last season as the Reds finished seventh in the table.
