Liverpool could yet make a few more additions in the summer transfer window, in an effort to build upon a strong but somewhat toothless opening day performance in the Premier League. One man they have been after for an eternity is £20m-rated Ajax attacker Christian Eriksen. When pressed on the player, coach Frank de Boer said that "if he feels good going to Liverpool, then it is up to him", so a transfer looks possible, but the Reds face competition from Russian club Zenit, who have had a fourth approach rebuffed. Eriksen, meanwhile, has told Dutch magazine Voetbal International that the speculation "does not bother me. I've been associated for so long with various clubs that I'm used to it."
