Barca to fight Liverpool for Iturbe
The Anfield side are keen on signing the highly-rated attacking midfielder after his season-long loan in Serie A finishes in the summer, reports in Italy suggestVerona playmaker Juan Iturbe is a January transfer target for Liverpool and Barcelona, reports have suggested.Portuguese newspaper A Bola believe that the 20-year-old, who is currently on loan at the Serie A side from Porto, is being watched by the Premier League and La Liga giants.The Argentina Under-20 international has been in impressive form for the Italian team this term, scoring twice in six appearances.As such, the Bluagrana could make a move for the youngster in the winter transfer window.The sports daily believes that they will face competition from Brendan Rodgers’ men though, who are also said to be keen.Porto are expected to be looking for a fee of around €14m.
