Liverpool keeping transfer tabs on Montenegro ace

Deni Hocko (Budocnost Podgorica)

Liverpool are keen on Budocnost Podgorica midfielder Deni Hocko, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The Montenegro U-21 international has emerged as one of the top talents in Eastern European football over the course of the past few years, which has seen interest surrounding his signature spike.
Hocko has even been likened to Italian superstar Andrea Pirlo, due to his silky playing style and wide range of passing.
Liverpool are believed to be interested in the 19-year-old, and have contacted the youngster’s club to discuss a potential deal.
Crystal Palace are also keen, but it is believed that the player himself may favour a move to the Reds.
Hocko only joined Podgorica recently, but his performances have already led to speculation that he could be set for a big move in the near future.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are set for a hectic few days of transfer activity.
Deals for Paris Saint-Germain’s Mamoudou Sakho and Tiago Ilori of Sporting Lisbon are believed to have been agreed, and the duo are set to travel to Merseyside for medicals.
The Anfield side are also keen on securing deals for Aston Villa’s veteran goalkeeper Shay Given and Chelsea outcast Victor Moses.
Should Liverpool swoop early for Deni Hocko?
